In the face of a veritable onslaught of both government regulation and rampant litigation against website providers, we here at Ticket Life have gone out on a limb and provided the following Terms of Use that are hopefully simple, understandable and effective without most of the legalese commonly found in such documents. Please help us make sure that this was the right decision.

AGREEMENT

By using the Ticket Life website, you are agreeing to the Terms of Use stated here.

USER REGISTRATION

The Ticket Life website is a resource for the primary event ticketing industry. As such, most of the content within the Ticket Life website is accessible only to registered users from that industry.

The following general rules for the approval of applications for registration will be used.

Your application for registration will generally be accepted if:
(a) you work for a performing arts or sports venue;
(b) you work for an artist, concert promoter or sports team that sells their own tickets;
(c) you work for a ticketing bureau that is not active in the secondary ticket market;
(d) you work for a provider of ticketing-related goods and services to organizations such as those mentioned in (a), (b) and (c) above;
(e) you work for an educational institution and part of your teaching and/or research relates directly to the primary ticketing industry; or
(f) you are self-employed and can demonstrate a professional orientation towards the primary ticketing industry.

Your application for registration will generally not be accepted if you are a secondary ticketing provider or work for an organization that regularly sells tickets on the secondary market.

Ticket Life reserves the right to diverge from a strict interpretation of these general rules when the need arises in specific cases.

Registration as a user of the Ticket Life website does not imply any kind of membership in Ticket Life nor any rights, privileges or obligations that such a membership might entail.
